Les Balcons de Val Thorens is one of our favourite places to stay in the world class ski resort of Val Thorens. Set in a peaceful spot on the upper edge of Val Thorens, these well equipped apartments provide the ideal place to relax whilst still maintaining a close proximity to the main resort.

A highlight of this residence is the on-site spa area, which has an indoor swimming pool, sauna, steam room and hot tubs. It's free to use and is the perfect place to relax and recuperate after a long day on the slopes. Treatments such as massages are available for a supplement.

Guests have the option to stay self catering as the apartments contain what you need to prepare meals throughout your stay. Alternatively, you can stay half board (breakfast and 3 course evening meals) at the excellent on-site restaurant.

Apartment description: This 110m² apartment can welcome up to 10 people (some are duplex). It has 4 bedrooms and the lounge can sleep 2 guests on the sofa bed. The apartment has 4 bathrooms (minimum 1 with an hydrotherapy bathtub and 3 shower rooms) but also 4 separate toilets. In the lounge, you will find an Austrian stove, a TV and a phone. The kitchen, fully equipped, provides you with; a fridge, a dishwasher, a fan oven, a microwave, an induction cooker, a toaster, an electric kettle and a coffee machine.

Return shared transfers (from Geneva airport) - You will be on the next transfer after your flight lands. The pickup is outside the main terminal, transfers are regular, but the wait time depends on what time your flight lands. You will be dropped off at the resort’s bus station, which is located centrally. For the transfers, your flight must land no later than 20:10, and your return flight must depart no earlier than 09:30.

Accommodation - 7 nights accommodation at 4* Les Balcons de Val Thorens (1 x 8/10 person Superior).

Half Board (optional) - Breakfasts and evening meals (3 course set menu) are taken at the lovely on-site restaurant L’Auberge des Baclons.

Lift passes - 6 day local area Val Thorens lift passes (gives you access to 150km of pistes). You can upgrade to the 3 Valleys lift passes (600km of pistes for +£55pp).

Ski Hire - 6 day Economy skis, boots and poles (upgrades are possible).
