Stylish Modern Apartments in the Heart of Alpe d’Huez

Opened in 2022, Odalys L’Eclose Prestige Apartments offer some of the most modern and comfortable accommodation in Alpe d’Huez, with stylish interiors and high quality finishes throughout. The residence enjoys a prime location just a short walk from the nearest ski lift, giving you quick access to the 250km of pistes in the Grandes Rousses ski area. With Grenoble airport only 1.5 hours away, reaching Alpe d’Huez is simple and hassle-free.

Location - Close to Lifts, Village & Ski Hire Shop

The residence is just an 8 minute walk from the lively resort centre, where you’ll find shops, restaurants, and bars. The nearest lift, the Alpe Express, is close by, so you can be up the mountain within minutes.

Alpe d’Huez itself offers a vast ski area with 250km of pistes, connected by a modern lift system. From the Pic Blanc summit at 3,300m, skiers can tackle the legendary Sarenne run (16km), which is the longest black piste in Europe.

For convenience, our recommended ski hire shop (Skiset Henri Sports IV L’Eclose), is just a 2–3 minute walk away. Shared transfer providers also drop off at Palais des Sports, only 7 minutes from the residence.

Apartments & Board Options

Each apartment comes well equipped with everything you need for a self catering ski holiday in Alpe d’Huez, including:

  • Oven
  • Microwave
  • Fridge
  • Dishwasher
  • Induction hob

If you prefer not to cook every day, the residence is conveniently located near a host of fantastic restaurants.

Relax at the Spa

After a long day on the slopes, unwind at the Payot Spa at L’Eclose. Guests have free access to:

  • A large indoor swimming pool
  • Fitness room
  • Sauna and hammam

For extra indulgence, there's a menu of spa treatments, facials, and massages available at an additional cost, which is perfect for easing tired bodies after skiing.

Why Choose Alpe d'Huez?

Known as “The Island in the Sun”, Alpe d’Huez is blessed with incredible sunshine throughout the year, offering long ski days and bluebird conditions. The resort is part of the Grand Domaine Ski Area, which features:

  • 250km of varied pistes for all abilities
  • The world famous Sarenne run (16km)
  • Awarded Best Ski Resort in Europe (2020)

The après-ski scene is lively too, with a great mix of mountain bars and nightlife. Unlike many top French resorts, Alpe d’Huez is also very accessible, just 1.5 hours from Grenoble airport and under 2 hours from Lyon airport (depending on traffic).
