April Ski Holidays Val D’Isere

The Espace Killy ski area which encompasses Val D’Isere and Tignes is one of the last resorts to close in the Alps, which means that April is still an excellent month for both weather and snow conditions. Although skiing in April is considered low season, ski trips during the popular Easter holidays can be pricey, although well worth it for young families.
For those without families, the rest of April provides an excellent time to head to the Alps especially to ski areas which provide good levels of Snow. As long as you avoid the Easter Holidays, and the obvious increase in skiers around this time – skiing in April represents an incredibly good value way of hitting the slopes, whilst enjoying shorter lift queues and maximising skiing time. The quieter spell also means cheaper accommodation and ski passes.
The warmer weather also means that the Apres Ski scene and nightlife scene are extra enjoyable, and long lunches and sunbathing are to be enjoyed up the mountain. After all, who enjoys an ice cold beer in freezing temperatures?
If you have any questions about visiting Val D’isere in April, then just get in touch and we will be happy to discuss your holiday with you. Once we understand your requirements, we can then tailor an April Ski Package for you, taking care of everything from travel and accommodation to ski hire and ski passes, all of which are secured at the best rates.
